The Mindful Self-Compassion Training Program that we offer was developed by Kristin Neff PhD and Christopher Germer PhD. Research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly linked to improved emotional wellbeing, decreased anxiety and depression. Mindful self-compassion helps one to lessen their inner critical dialogue, handle emotions with more ease and deal with relationships more effectively.
We want you to know that we are committed to helping you to be your own best friend by teaching you skills that help you to accept your imperfections with kindness and embrace your struggles with compassion. Wouldn't it be wonderful to know that given any difficult situation you will respond to yourself as you would a dear friend or a child with understanding, gentleness and compassion. We can help you to develop these skills that can last a lifetime.
In addition, come fall 2017, we are pleased to announce "Let your yoga dance" as a collaborative offering with Mindful self-compassion workshops, groups and retreats. This yoga/dance fusion deepens the positive connection with ourselves as our body leads the way.
