Where is your mind right now? Without judging the findings, chances are you may have been thinking about something in the future or trying to resolve something from the past.

Mother Nature rules!!!


After two nights in Virginia Beach, it was time to head South. We had become rather proficient at take down/setup of our camper so within a short time we were back rolling along the highway. We had hoped for an easy day of travel but much to our surprise, a weather front appeared out of nowhere and we were engulfed by torrential rain. The windshield wipers were doing theirbest to keep up with the intensity of the storm. In that brief period of time, it was clear that Mother Nature was commanding our attention. Gone were the ideas of easy travel. Instead we were riveted to attention by the driving rain. That was our only focus, to survive this sudden, unexpected storm. After the storm cleared and sunshine prevailed, I was able to get a perspective on what had just occurred. It never fails to surprise me that we are held in a wider circle of life. Our best laid plans can get smashed within mere seconds. We honored the intensity of the storm and instead of pushing wildly and dangerously through it, we found an exit and simply waited it out. Are you honoring the shifting winds around you? Can you take a side tour when necessary?
